piazza Libertà - Maranello - MO - 41053
The statue dedicated to the "Drake" was donated to the town by Piero Ferrari to celebrate the centennial of Enzo Ferrari's birth. It is a bronze column that weights sixty quintals and stands for five meters and that portrays the most meaningful phases of Enzo Ferrari's life. It is by the town hall to testify the bond that since a long time unites Ferrari and the town that houses it. The statue has been realised by the modenese sculptor Marino Quartieri.
