- The Profession of Arms.
Each section is characterized by criteria of typological coherence, of historical and artistic importance, providing a rich insight into the historical and artistic heritage, with the aim of creating a living memory.
The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Mirandola has contributed and worked with the Municipality, giving to the Museum the premises and all the works of art, the historical records and several other works (prints, paintings, coins, volumes, etc..) arising from bequests and private donations.
The Cassa di Risparmio di Mirandola Division of Cr Florence has given on loan to the Foundation all works of art and historical furnishings from the Monte di Pietà of Mirandola, S. Felice and Finale Emilia, and most of the coins of Pico's mint.
Then there are the Legato Costantini, donations of Corrado Malagoli and of Bavaria family, the collection of weapons donated by an anonymous and other legacies.
The new museum is housed in both the Carabini Hall, which once occupied a large portion of the south side of the ducal apartment, and the premises of the New Gallery, which are now the seat of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Mirandola and its valuable collections.
