Acetaia la Bonissima

Guided visit to the production rooms in the vinegar factory with explanation of the processes for PDO and PGI products, followed by tasting session and a chance to buy the products tasted.

Acetaia La Bonissima is proof of the passion that the De Pietri family has always had for the production of “balsamic”. At the turn of the twentieth century, Grandpa Celestino was running one of the city’s most famous trattorias, la Casa Rigata, just outside Modena. Today, all that remains of the original trattoria is the old vinegar factory, currently on the edge of the Apennines, just seven kilometres from the city centre.
