Between history and legend: Villa and Park Manusardi - A journey among villas and castle

Guided tour of the park and villa with access to the upper floors.

Built by the Biffi family, originally from Casale, this nineteenth-century villa is located near the town hall of Casalfiumanese. It later became the property of a noble family of Lombard origin who stayed here during the summer months to oversee their vineyards.

The villa is surrounded by Manusardi Park, a splendid green setting that hosts village events. The neoclassical building has become municipal property and now houses the library, a nursery school and a music school.

According to a local legend told to young people to discourage adventures and night-time explorations of the Villa's park, when it was still privately owned, the ghost of Dr Biffi on horseback (and naked!) would appear to chase away intruders.

The guided tour is part of the “A journey among villas and castle” exhibition.
