Dinner in Piazza Roma
In evidence
This year’s edition will be made even more striking by an aerial dance performance, enhanced by light projections cast directly onto the façade of the Military Academy, creating a visually stunning and highly atmospheric setting.
Adding to the experience, a live trio of musicians will accompany the performance, seamlessly weaving music and movement into a truly immersive show.
On 16 May, starting at 8:00 pm, Piazza Roma will be transformed into an elegant open-air restaurant under the stars for “Dinner in Piazza Roma”, an event organised by Confcommercio Modena as part of the “Day of Italian Cuisine” promoted by FIPE – Confcommercio, celebrating and showcasing Italian gastronomy and the excellence of local products.
For one evening, in the heart of Modena’s historic centre, guests will enjoy a truly unique food and wine experience, featuring authentic traditional flavours and outstanding local specialties. In the kitchen, a team of renowned chefs will be supported by sommeliers, waitstaff and front-of-house professionals to ensure refined, high-quality service.
“Dinner in Piazza Roma” also stands out as an important charitable initiative. The collaboration with Porta Aperta, a long-standing Modena-based organisation committed to fighting poverty, continues: 20 guests supported by the association will be welcomed for dinner, and part of the proceeds will be donated to support its activities.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will also go to the Angela Serra Association for Cancer Research, which has long been active in supporting oncology research and promoting prevention.
The event, also conceived as a tool to promote tourism and enhance the Modena area, involves the active participation of the Piacere Modena Consortia, the Municipality of Modena, and is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Numerous partners are involved in making the evening possible: Modenamoremio, Gruppo Hera, Tradizione e Sapori, Modenatur, VisitModena, Porta Aperta, Angela Serra Association, Fas Security Solution, Caffè Molinari, Dolcem, Modena con Gusto, Belrenò, Forno Moreno, Ivy Balloons & Blooms Bar, Vania Franceschelli.
Participation in the event requires the purchase of a ticket priced at €40.
