The Rocca di Vignola, an imposing medieval fortress located in the heart of the Val Panaro, is one of the best-preserved castles in Emilia-Romagna. With its commanding position over the Panaro River and its majestic towers, it offers a fascinating journey through history, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
The guided tour includes:
- The Spectacular Frescoed Rooms. The Rocca preserves precious 15th-century frescoes, including those in the Sala dei Leoni e dei Leopardi (Hall of Lions and Leopards) and the Chapel.
- Panoramic Walkways. Climbing up the walkways of the fortress, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Panaro Valley and the rolling hills of Modena. An unmissable experience for those who love scenic landscapes and photography.
