Accessible Guided Tour, at a Slow Pace
A gentle walk, respectful of everyone’s rhythm — a guided tour designed to discover the historic center of Modena with calm and attention.
The itinerary has been created to be accessible, inclusive, and relaxed, suitable for all.

Modena City Tour – Slow and Accessible

The Slow and Accessible Modena City Tour was born from the idea that every person has their own pace and their own way of experiencing a journey. In an age where everything runs fast, this tour is an invitation to slow down, to deeply connect with places, and to notice what often goes unseen.

Walking slowly through the center of Modena, pausing to admire a Romanesque bas-relief, listening to ancient stories, breathing in the scents of the historic market — all of this is about cultivating awareness and focusing on the essentials.

This itinerary is carefully designed to be accessible and welcoming in every detail.

It is particularly suitable for:

  • people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users

  • families with small children

  • elderly visitors

The route, pace, and visiting style are structured so that everyone can take part with comfort and pleasure.

What makes the experience even more meaningful is that the tour may be led by licensed tourist guides who themselves walk at a slower pace or live with motor disabilities using a wheelchair. This strengthens the value of shared experience and inclusivity.
