Villa Fibbia – A journey among Villas and Castles

Join us on a tour of Villa Fibbia, a manor house dating from 1578 in the Granarolo dell’Emilia  countryside. The tour begins with a visit to the interior of the building, with insights into its architecture and the history of the families who lived there. We’ll then continue with a stroll along the avenue, during which you’ll be able to see the entrance to an 18th-century ice house, followed by a visit to the Oratory of the Madonna degli Angeli at the end of the route. Finally, the tour stops at another 18th-century building adjacent to the villa, once used as a barn and stable offering an insight into rural life and organisation at the time.
