In the "days of the Blackbird", the rezdòra, prisoner in the house due to the great cold, used to cook polenta, seasoned with the thick and fragrant sauce of stewed birds. The small birds, "stupefied" by the cold, were easily caught in the backyard, with small traps called "luvatt".
