Pinoccio a rotta di collo
Modena
The exhibition offers an original journey into the world of Pinocchio, Carlo Collodi’s celebrated masterpiece, exploring the theme of disorder from two complementary perspectives that reveal its remarkable modernity.
On the one hand, disorder reflects the individual’s sense of disorientation and the difficulty of finding one’s way in a world where poverty, deception and dishonesty challenge every certainty, and where values seem to be turned upside down to the point of absurdity. On the other, chaos becomes a creative and vital force, capable of transforming and generating new possibilities.
In this journey, Pinocchio emerges as a profoundly metamorphic figure, naturally moving through different forms of existence, from the vegetal to the animal, from the inanimate to the human.
