Men's European Volleyball Championship
Modena
Widely regarded as the home of Italian volleyball, Modena is one of the host cities of the 2026 CEV Men's European Volleyball Championship, alongside Naples, Turin, and Milan.
Italy's national team, coached by Ferdinando "Fefè" De Giorgi, will begin its campaign in Naples before moving on to Modena. From 12 to 17 September 2026, PalaPanini will host all the Pool A matches, featuring Italy, the Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
The tournament will conclude with the final in Milan on 27 September, and the winning team will also secure direct qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
As in previous editions, the championship will have a truly European dimension, with Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania serving as co-host nations.
