Jazz Open comes to Modena: the major international festival makes its Italian debut from July 13 to 18, 2026.
After more than thirty years of success in Stuttgart, the Jazz Open festival, directed by Jürgen Schlensog, arrives in Modena, bringing icons of the music scene with it.
The festival stands out for its Jazz & Beyond format: an inclusive and experimental approach that brings together world-renowned artists and leading jazz figures in a truly international program.
The city is thus preparing to become a widespread open-air stage, with six days dedicated to jazz, pop, soul, and electronic music, creating a unique dialogue between music, culture, and the territory

Three exceptional venues to experience the city:

• Piazza Roma: the beating heart of the historic city center, hosting the main stage for major international events.
• Giardino Ducale Estense: a charming setting dedicated to free-admission concerts.
• Il Baluardo: an additional performance space featuring a curated, dedicated line-up.
